Bauer Pulse Goal Stick

Bauer mostly seems to get it right when they release their ADV innovation stick..OK, maybe the purple for the Protocol stick in '24 didn't work for everybody. But this year, the new handle shape of the Pulse stick has goalies talking.
In an effort to shape the handle more ergonomically, reduce fatigue and make the stick easier to hold, the team at Bauer introduced the Ergo Grip on this year's ADV stick launch. Comments in the store have ranged from: "what the heck is that?" to "Wow, this seems to make sense". Overall the consumer has responded positively to the handle shape and find it effortlessly comfortable to hold on to. The grip fits nicely into the palm of your hand and the idea of reducing the negative space in your palm and grip impacts how you hold the stick. The idea of not having to grip the stick tightly to maintain control and strength is beneficial for goalies, especially pucks shot to the stick hand side of the player's body. It allows you to keep more of the blade of the stick on the ice for the tight side shots, which directly provides the player with more control and ability to direct the puck into a safe spot.
The TWITCH shaft taper technology is a more comfortable shape when you sliding your hand up the 30" shaft to handle and play the puck. Combined with the new tapered Ergo Spine, feel of the puck has been increased so that you are always in control. A hybrid toe design features a square top and a rounded bottom of the toe to corral pucks off the boards and combined with the lightweight of the stick, allows the goalie to move the puck easily to their teammates.
Whether the teal color is your flavour or not, this stick is worthy of consideration because it brings some great new tech to the goalie's world of sticks, to match what the shooters are getting every year on their side of things.
