Protection
The CCM Referee Pants with built in protection features PE Inserts and single density foam, which provides you a tailored pro-level protection. The padding inserts are strategically placed to cover you where your shin guards don't. There is padding built in that surrounds the quads and hamstrings of both legs, but do not wrap around the inner thighs. This gives you the appropriate level of protection, while allowing you an unobstructed stride.

Kidney Belt
CCM includes a removable kidney belt for added protection around the mid section. This helps protect the kidneys and lower spine, especially when you're trying to dodge pucks are are coming down your wall. The kidney belt has it's own separate buckle and cinch belt that can be tightened to your own fit, separate from your waist closure.

Tailbone Pad
The CCM Referee Pant has a padded tailbone piece that is segmented separately from the pant itself. This provides you with good protection from getting knocked to the ice, or pucks hitting you. The pad being segmented is an added benefit as it moves more freely inside the pant with your stride.

Pant Material
The CCM Referee Pant is made with a durable woven polyester that is breathable, and durable in nature.
